In terms of wine advent calendars, that means sussing out their shelf-appeal, before ripping open the doors of each one, and scrutinising the quality and serving sizes of the wines included. Is a full-sized bottle included at the end? Is the packaging recyclable or reusable? Are there any tasting notes or surprises?

After completely selling out last year, their popular advent calendar is back for 2024 — and the whole thing is completely recyclable — from the cardboard calendar, to the cans themselves. They haven't released the official line-up for this year yet, but the 2023 highlights were a pretty pale rosé from Puglia, a Malbec from Mendoza that's perfect for pairing with cheeseboards, and a lightly sparkling Italian Moscato.
